News : Obama Clinton summit

Obama and Clinton move toward unifying Democratic party after their nomination battle.

Likely U.S. Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama met privately with former rival Hillary Clinton on Thursday night(June 5)after she distanced herself from a push to convince him to choose her as his running mate.

She says the decision on a vice president is his alone to make.
