News : Softbank rings on iPhone deal




Japanese telecom player Softbank's shares jumped in the wake of a deal to sell Apple's iPhone this year.

Top mobile rivals fell after the news, but upstart Softbank, an Internet dynamo, rose on the deal, although details on exclusivity remain unspecified.
