A week-long competition with the dual goals of fostering European innovation and identifying promising investment opportunities is underway in London.

A gathering of entrepreneurs and investors might sound like a gloomy affair given the economic climate, but the organisers of Seedcamp say the annual competition is more concerned with the big picture.
