News : Dozens killed in charity crush




Dozens are killed whilst queuing to receive charity donations in Indonesia.

Waiting to receive alms, turned to death, when a stampede in Indonesia killed at least 21 people and injured scores.

Around 10, 000 people congregated in an area in the East Java town of Pasuruan to receive their annual Zakat donation.

The donation is given by Muslims and often distributed to the needy during the fasting month of Ramadan.

Some people collapsed due to a lack of oxygen in the crush, while others were trampled, reports said.
