News : Attack at U.S. consulate in Istanbul

At least six people are dead after a 15-minute gunbattle outside the U.S. consulate in Istanbul, the city's governor said.

Governor Muammar Guler said a police officer had died at the scene and two other officers had died of their wounds at a nearby hospital The other three dead appeared to be from the group which launched the attack.
