News : A painful Olympic moment




China glistens with gold in the Olympics medal count but for one star athlete the pressure to win may have been too much to shoulder.

Chinese runner Liu Xiang's dream of defending his Olympic title on home soil ended on Monday as the runner hobbled off the track before his first round heat in the 110 metres hurdles.
