News : Ice-age Siberian mammoths




On show in Taiwan, the remains of two pre-historic mammoths from Russia's far north.

Yukagir and Oymiakon are two woolly mammoths that roamed Sibera tens of thousands of years ago. Today, in a museum in Taiwan, their frozen bodies are being displayed to remind visitors of more current issues.
