News : A spotlight on our 'digital shadow'




A report by analysis firm IDC suggests the amount of data being collected about people now surpasses information they create themselves.

The report sponsored by EMC Corporation says the 'digital universe' is not bigger than estimated due to the explosion in digital cameras, surveillance cameras and social networks.
